Ball Scratch Simulator is the world’s premier public ball-scratching panic experience. Scratch when nobody is looking, sniff the evidence for a multiplier boost, stop when witnesses turn around, and try to escape with your dignity, career, and high score intact. Play offline solo or host a private Steam match for up to four players, with bots available to fill empty seats. Build streaks, unlock the Shame Deck, compete for global high scores in single-player, and make increasingly bad decisions across six public disaster zones.

Wait until witnesses look away, scratch to relieve the itch, then sniff the evidence to boost your multiplier. Stop instantly when attention swings back. Short runs and fast restarts keep the pressure moving.
Progression
Score, streaks & shame
Players chase cleaner streaks and Steam leaderboard positions while unlocking locations, Steam achievements, performance stats, chibis, and collectible Shame Deck cards.
Play formats
Solo, multiplayer or VR.
Play offline solo, host a private Steam match for up to four players with bots, or use optional seated OpenXR VR with a stable 1080p Streamer Mode for viewers.
Does it require VR?No. Desktop play is fully supported; VR is optional.
Is there an embargo?Yes. The coverage embargo lifts Thursday 10 Sept 2026.
Is there nudity?No. All characters are adults and fully clothed.
Does core play require internet?No. Single-player works offline; online multiplayer and Steam features require connectivity.

Streaming, videos, reviews, and standard platform monetization are welcome after the coverage embargo lifts on Thursday 10 Sept 2026.
Creator Mode
- From the main menu, open Options.
- Under Game Feel, enable Creator Mode.
- Restart the game, then choose Creator Tools from the main menu.
- Temporarily unlock every location or the full Shame Deck. Disable Creator Mode and restart to return to normal play.
Creator Tools unlocks are temporary. While Creator Mode is active, career-save writes, Steam achievements, stats, and leaderboard submissions are disabled.
Multiplayer for creators
Host or join a private Steam match for up to four players in any multiplayer-ready location. The host can add bots to open seats, and multiplayer runs do not submit ordinary single-player scores or leaderboard entries.
Streamer Mode for VR viewers
Under Options → Game Feel → Streaming, enable Streamer Mode during VR play. The desktop output becomes a stable 1080p spectator view, giving viewers a comfortable look at the action without copying every movement of the headset.
